 external fx swithcing
anyone have a schematic for an external switching device for effects. Kind of like the GCX swithcer but only one effect  
 
My amp (mesa-maverick) has an fx loop but is not switchable  
 
I want to put my voodoo vibe ontop of my amp and have it in the loop but be able to bypass/enable the fx from my pedal board

I donīt have a schem handy, but Iīd say you could do two things.  
#1) replace the existing bypass switch in the pedal with a relay circuit(hack it in somehow, togehther with a supply. Should be easy if you use an adapter for the pedal) and construct a pedal that switches supply voltage to the relay on or off. Switching DC voltage allows you to go LONG.  
#2) construct a bypass-box with a relay (or any other bypassbox that can be remotely controlled, or controlled by remote, or...), opting between the pedal or a short. Same story. This is more versatile; you can use it for any application that needs a bypass-at-distance.
