I will re-test tonight but I am pretty darn sure that I did not swap the voltages. I am fairly certain that the emitter was that low.

I will measure the voltages at pins 2,3 and 6 as well.

Sorry, I don't have one...

BTW: I tried 2.7V zeners and other combinations of 5.6V zeners+resistors, everything!!! I am convinced this thing is cursed.

Gus	Aron I can not get to my email today in the email I sent you change the 2)4.7k to 47k that should shunt less current around the 5.6volt zener.

aron	OK, I triple checked. You are right on everything! OK, now how do I get this thing to bias correctly. I have tried nearly everything to get this thing to bias. I have bought the 2.7v zeners and tried all sorts of combinations. What could be making this thing not bias? Aron

Gus	A Thought are the zeners zenering(do they have the correct current flow) adjust with resistor to 9 v current= battery voltage - z voltage/r. lower r more current Gus
