Ever change a SuperFuzz switch? The switch on my superfuzz is shot, won't turn off and I don't know if I can replace it. It seems to be screwed into threads cast into the body and this raises the first question, Will the threads on an Arrow DPDT match the hole and threads on the SUperfuzz? Second there is a claw type thing on the bottom of the footpad that hooks right below the "head" of the switch. I cannot remove the footpad. I even ripped the rubber covering trying to figure a way to romove it. It looks like they put the footswitch in first, then slipped the footpad's claw around the switch, then riveted the pivot point of the footpad. I'd rather have it stuck on all the time then have to rip it apart, but it would be nice to get it working again. Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks |

Hello, Ryan. I have a Superfuzz I am rebuilding and I need to replace the switch, also. Like you I tried to get the switch out by disassembling the pedal, i.e. removing the pad. No luck. It's been awhile since I looked at it, last time it looked like the rivets in the hinge would need drilling out to get the switch out. I plan to look at it again this week and will repost if I find out anything. Also, please let me know if you find a solution. Thanks. |
