Oscillator drift Does anybody know anything about the literature of analogue oscillator drift? I know that in the bad old analogue days, oscillators used to drift a fair amount. I need information for totally different reasons (modelling biological systems) but I thought models of analogue oscillator drift might help. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. |

I had an opportunity to familiarize myself with oscillator drift when I was building my first theremins. You can find a lot of information about it in publications dealing with radiofrequency circuits. Recommended reading includes the ARRL (American Radio Relay League) handbook and Secrets of RF Circuit Design by Joseph Carr, published by Tab Books. |
