| Craig | New Fender Amp Web Site? Here is a new (to me at least) Fender Amp site that features pics and data on many Fender amps. http://www.zen.org/~ware/ffg/contents.html |

That's only the table of contents; the whole page is here: http://www.zen.org/~ware/ffg/ffg.html |

Re: Bookmark this sucker! Great link! The schematics section includes layout drawings and covers practically all of the Fender amps built from 1950 to 1970 (including many not in the Pittman book). Thanks! Steve Ahola P.S. BTW the current issue of GP mentions Anton Funderburgh playing a 1962 Super Reverb. Does anyone know if Fender was making a SR before the AA763 (which is the earliest schematic I've seen for the SR)? Perhaps it is really a 1962 Super amp that he plays... |

I'm pretty sure he plays a blackface Super Reverb. I'm sure blackface amps were not being made before 1963. GP makes dumb errors like this all the time -- they're not that hip to vintage gear (which is probably how their advertisers prefer things!). |

Jim S. Thanks! I'll add that to my evergrowing list of famous GP errors... one of these days I'll have enough to blackmail them! Steve Ahola |

I put this on a post a little while back and said the same thing.. everyone needs to bookmark this site.I was helping someone with a schematic and listed it. I didn't put in on a single post. There is another good one called www.provide.net/~cfh/pots.html Or the name of it is dating vintage guitars and amps by date source codes.. So Check this out too.I sent these to Trace and some others to bookmark. [Richie] |

I bookmarked it when you posted it! Good site. I don't agree with all the specs, but then I never do. |
