$$$Portaflex-B15N What is the most y'all would pay for a B15-N that sounds pretty darn good (I have no other reference how it could sound)and looks in good to very good condition??? The Ampeg page lists it at $399, but that is well below the other model portaflexes. Still, I seem to have vague memories of the B15N as the classic of that line, so why the lesser value???? Someone wants a whopping $675 for the one I played. That seems quite high. -Slim |

| John M | Sounds to me that you have listed the range of prices that I see out there. These amps seem to vary a bit more than others in price. Sellers with a real collectors mindset seem to ask very high prices sometimes, I've seen one going for $800 in CA in nice but not amazing shape to $300 in MA very rough but functional. I guess one thing that leads to some of the lower prices is that the amp isn't loud enough to damage you hearing. Some people see this as a problem. |

I have a '65 stock all original, and I paid $500.00 for mine, about 8 months ago. I thought this was fair for a '65, but I probably would not have paid this for a '70's model or a non-Linden N.J. model. tap |
