 Best tubes for McIntosh MC30
Anybody on here know anything about McIntosh HIFI amps? I just bought a pair of MC30's and I'm wondering what the best power tubes are for these units. Also, where to get the electrolytic filter caps?

The electrolytics are probably going to have to be subbed with small individuals, as good multi-section caps have not been made for awhile, except one from New Sensor intended for use in small Fender amps.The best tubes are NOS American made 6L6'S that can be had from a number of sources, my favorite is Mojo Musical supply in Petaluma, CA.
