| Greg | Carvin X100B Schematic? This thing has been in storage in Nashville for two years and I just dug it out. I figure it may need to have a cap job as it's probably about 15 yrs old now and like I said, has been on the shelf for two years. Anyway, I was wondering if maybe any of you happen to have a schematic lying around that you might share? Thanks for any help! Greg |

Greg, This may not help you much, but there's a copy of the X100B schematic in the Aspen Pittman Tube Amp book. Also, Carvin can send you a copy if you give them a call (1-800-854-2235). Prepare yourself for a challenge -- that circuit board is a bear to get out of the chassis. I recently replaced the screen resistors in a friend's X-amp, and after seeing how many wires I would have to desolder to get to the underside of the board, I ended up just soldering the new resistors to the old resistors' leads. It wasn't beautiful work, but it got the job done and saved lots of time. Good luck! Michael Tousek |

| Wyatt | Contact Carvin I got mine from Carvin. I have it packed up, but might be able to locate it. Let them know what year amp you have (they changed drastically in '90). Email your address to me at: wyattoons@REMOVEerols.com (take out the "REMOVE" of course)...and, I'll mail you a copy of mine if I can find it. Mine is a little blurred, so I can't guarantee total legibility. -Y. |
