fender circuit #'s question
I'm wondering what the fender circuit numbers signify. For example, what does aa763 mean? I'm guessing that the 63 may be the year that the cicuit was designed. The 7 might be the month? What about the letters?

Thanks for any help,

Dave

The BF/SF numbers work like this...

The first two alpha characaters are the revision WITHIN the month.

AA, first design revision
AB, second design revision
AC, third design revision

etc

The last two numeric charcaters are the year of the design, and any numeric characters between the first two alphas and the last two numerics are the month within the year.

So.

AA763 would be the first design for July 63.

AB1265 would be the second design for December '65.

Cheers,

Bill
