Fender Twin Master Volume I was thinking of buying a Fender twin W/ a push/pull master volume pot. It does not really do much when I push or pull the switch except add more noise (hiss). Could there be something wrong or is this the way these things act normally. Any advice appreciated. Matt. |

| James | That switch was a cheesy distortion circuit. Buy the amp and retro the circuit to black face specs and you've got a great amp. James |

| Jeff | yes, it should do more than just hiss -- it truly is an awful distortion circuit, but there should be SOME kind of change when you use it. perhaps someone's already tried to mod it. whenever i run across a silverface with MV, i also, too, recommend that it be "blackfaced"; i usually turn the MV into a Presence control (similar to what's found on an early 80's Concert or TwinRev II). |

| M.Romasco | Thanks guys, So when I pull out the switch there shouldn't be an increase in volume level, just an increase in distortion (silghtly)? Matt. |
