AC-50 dilemma

Steve Fillipp	AC-50 dilemma Hi, folks. I've got an opportunity to buy a very nice old (don't know exact date) AC-50 head - the guy who is selling it is just saying make an offer. Anyone have an idea what kind of range would represent a fair deal on this amp? I'm not all thatl familiar with the value of Vox stuff. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. Steve F.

M.Romasco	Try going to The VOX Showroom at www.voxshowroom.com. Look in the classified ads to get an idea of the going price. Dont buy anything over the net without getting photos and description in writing.

Thanks! I took a look there, found a couple for
sale.

I feel pretty good about the deal, got it for $400.
This was from a small recording studio selling off
their equipment here in town, the engineer is a
friend of mine so I felt pretty confident I wasn't
buying a bunch of problems.

Thanks again for the tip on Voxshowroom. It's loaded
with info, I think it will be very helpful as I
try to get this thing into primo shape.

ED	I paid $650 for my ac-50 head, and thought I was getting a pretty good deal.
