Jeez, if you really want to be snarky, get an SVT preamp and mate it to a Crown power amp (say, a generous 2000 watts) with drivers of your choice... Practically speaking, you might try an SVT or Fender Rumblebass, both 300 watts, all tube. They're built for bass, but sound great for LOUD, clean guitar. Pair it with a turned up 1959 Plexi RI for the clean/OD mix and unholy volume. |

Well, mine, of course. It's essentially two SVT power amps in one rack mount enclosure. But it's not for sale. If you want one built, I can do it, but it costs some dough... about 1.5 to 2K USD. And expect it to weigh about 100 pounds. As far as speaker cabinets, the loudest ones are the ones you build yourself. ~KG~ |
