Deluxe Reverb reissue output transformers are available at http://www.angela.com

I'm sure there's other people selling them as well.

Try out either a reissue Fender transformer, or one of Doug Hoffman's transformers! :-)

Both available at http://www.hoffmanamps.com

Doug runs a very good business, and his prices are quite good.

I bought one for my deluxe project from Ned Carlson (Triode Electronics). It was called a TF110, and I believe it was also suitable for a DR. Ned's price was as good as anyone's (if not better) and he shipped it straight away - I got it less than 10 days later (in Australia).

I'm happy!

Yeah, they're $29.95 each.

I guess he *could* use a Magnequest Z-565, but they're just a hair more pricey ;-) (like $99)..OTOH, it might be interesting to see what a DR clone would sound like with a *really* nice transformer on it. I've heard of people retrofitting Bassman transformers to replace the smaller ones on beater Bandmasters, and I've also heard this does make an audible difference.

What does it cost to send something like that to Australia, Ned?

Almost as much as the transformer itself! You can get quotes for shipping on the USPS web site if you know the size/weight of the package.
