cap voltage oops hit the enter button .any way i just bought a bunch of poly caps, sprague orange drops and some chocolate .1's,.01's,.2's etc.theyare all rated @1600v,other than the larger size are they ok to use in place of coupling caps ie 200,400v thanks |

They're OK. Poly caps are stable and safe to use 'way below their ratings. Aluminum electros will degrade downwards from their rated voltage over time, and should really be used at 70-90% of their rated voltage. |
