Yeah if it's only the one tube/socket, then it may be a bad connection somewhere after the bias pot. Check from the bias pot up to and including the faulty socket. Like Dave suggests, measure the bias voltage (with the amp on standby) on the problem socket.

Thanks guys, i guess the problem was the sockets pins, i tightened them , and the problem went,
put in new sockets and EL34WXT's and no problems.

haha, i dunno, but im a BUSY hacker these days.
Actually im in college in toronto,
Its awkward fixing things in a dorm room, but it sure is easier to get parts here!
Ive overhauled 2 traynor YBA1's, a VT22, and a DR in the last 2 months.
Lots of fun stuff.
