Transformer ID
I've got this rather rare amp that someone has brought me. It a Mibur. Made in 1967 in Port Arthur ON - which no longer even exists! It amalgamated with it's sister city of Fort William and is now Thunder Bay. Anyway, there are a couple of Hammond Transformers that I can't seem to locate specs on. A 229 model Power & Heater trany and a 1664 Output transformer. I would rather not rip the amp apart to calculate all the basic specs, so if anyone knows anything about these guys, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks.

You may be able to get an answer directly from Hammond. They routinely build OEM transformers. Since they are a Canadian company, this practice is probably more prevalent north of the US border. I would bet they keep fairly accurate records of this stuff.

Wow, I didn't think anyone was actually going to be able to ID the thing. A couple of quick questions. How did you find this out? I would love to have more resources to ID transformers. Second, do you know the color codes on it? Thanks for the info.
