Black-Face power tube underbias

Black-Face power tube underbias Repairman installed replacement power transformer for '66 Fender Vibrolux Reverb. With bias pot at lowest setting, power tube plate current is still 43.5 ma using transformer shunt method. Need suggestions for easiest way to correct underbias problem. Thanks, in advance. |

| J Fletcher | Assuming everything in the bias cct is ok,increase the value of the resistor between the bias pot case and the bias pot terminal.This will increase the bias voltage.You'll have to trial and error this.... |
