Re: which tube amp book? Maybe I'm missing something here, but what exactly is wrong with installing a 250V MOV (aka "surge protector") on the primary side of a 110v amplifier. For surge protection, the higher the voltage rating, the better the protection. I like to use 250V MOV's because they are cheap and small enough to fit into tight places. |
