I just said I thought it was bull that he is keeping such a trivial secret is all. And the fact that this forum is for pickup makers to share ideas and suppliers. If everything is a big secret, shut this forum down and everyone collect their toys and go home because it is basically useless. Statements like Wolfe's flys in the face of everything this place used to stand for, IMO of course. I'm not trying to slam Wolfe, just trying to get someone other than myself to see a valid point here. It gets quite funny here at times watching people ask simple questions that could be answered simply but right off, the pros start throwing out answers in riddle form, read between the lines things. I have seen a lot of questions asked here that could in no way give anyones secret recipe away but you can hear the zippers zipping on everyones lips. I realize everyone needs to learn on their own in some way or other but to shut them out is so stupid. I mean, what if joe blow asks how many turns per layer would be a good starting point. I bet my right foot he would get a ton of side tracked answers, never really giving him a straight answer. All because someone might give away their secret?? There are a lot of other things that go along with turns per layer, like turns count, wire size, tension, etc... so no secret will be given away actually. Just never mind, I am actually wasting a lot of time going nowhere here and I've got work to do.
