Here's an idea I've had bouncing around in my head for a while. What if you used a small coil as an antenna to pick up the noise in the air, connected it to a small preamp and injected the noise (out of phase) into the output signal of the p-ups to "actively" cancel the noise racket?  
Now that I think of it, maybe it would be better to use the same type of pickup that's on the guitar for the antenna for the same "noise freq response"?  
I may have to try this....my Gibbo LPJR double cut w/p-90s drives me crazy with hum pickup.
