| moocow | Re: Number of Turns vs Resistance Leo Fender made some comments about the design of the G&L pickups using only one pole of the magnet. The idea was to get more output with less turns on the pickup. Earlier, he had experimented with this idea by using very long magnets the Electric XII pickups. Pretty much half of the magnet sticks out of the bottom of those pickps. |
