Usually three wires on a HB means you have your basic two wires-HB plus access to a coil tap.
The easiest way to find out is to measure DCR between those wires. The two that give you the most resistance are the ends of the pickup and usually the other one measures half the total resistance when measured against either of the other ones...I hope I wrote this clear enough!
So you take the coil tap wire and wire it to your push-pull switch so when you pull on the switch it shorts this wire to ground.
The other two you wire according to the phase of the other pickups in your guitar. Either one could be hot or ground, just keep the ground wire (the naked-uncolored one) grounded all the time.
