Actually, it isn't a problem because I can always determine which color wires go to which part of each coil, and I can check the magnetic polarity. I would just like for someone to say that StewMac is consistently reversed with the screw-pole coils, or tell me if they're completely inconsistent with the correctness of their pickup reference by manufacturer. It would just be handy to have a comprehensive, correct referense so I could tell someone with a PRS humbucker, for example, to "use the white wire" instead of instructing them to go buy a Digital Multimeter and call me back.... You know what i mean? |
