Damaged magnet wire?

Ryan	Damaged magnet wire? Hi, Need some help here. My mother's house had a leak in the upper bathroom at home while she was away, and water came through the ceiling (and went everywhere else) causing damage. Of course there was more to think about than the big coil of magnet wire I had on the table there that got wet as well, but now that I'm thinking about winding pickups again, I'm wondering if this wire is going to be usable. Because not only did it get relatively wet, but the water came through the drywall, which left a white scum on the linoleum floor that was ridiculously hard to remove. The coil looks fine but did have some mildew or the aforementioned "white scum" visible on the plastic of the big bobbin. It wiped off though. I do not want to buy more magnet wire, I thought the huge coil in question would keep me in "business" for life. But what do you think? Thanks for your opinions/help.
