I also plan my situation (mairage, kids, purchaces) to fit well within my means, cause you never know what can happen. Put some money in the bank here, instead of a new car...put some money away there, instead of a new Ipod that I don't really need...Here, there, it starts to add up. And all of this, regardless of what theif is in the whitehouse at the time. See, it's all in the plan, man.
