Hookup wire - what's good?
Hi.
I'm building a Firefly, and will need wiring that will handle B+ and other stuff at up to 300V.

I have some hookup wire that appears identical to the stuff Mouser sells on spools, that is supposed to be rated at 300V. But the insulation is quite thin, and it is kinda light duty (e.g. I wouldn't use it for grounding).

A heavy-duty alternative is to use some wire I've stripped out of mains cord (mains is 240VAC here, and the wire is rated at 450V, I think).

What do you guys and girls use?
Thanks.
