andy	direct box anyone out there knowof a a schematic for a di box imkind of a tinkerer and would like to try it i want to make a dual di in one box with in and thru 1/4 jacks, ground lift and input attenuation. i know the ground lift from studying other dis, but im iffy on the transformer values, and the resistances (and current capacity) for the input pad ive seen nominal values like 50k ohm input and 600 ohm output, is the transformer ratio just a division problem along these lines? sorry if these are stupid questions, but if i could put the same money into making a box with heavy duty everything, as i could put into buying a box with the right features but im soldering it back together after 20 gigs, id rather put in the work. knowledge is power right? any help greatly appreciated. time for my shameless plug, check my bands website at www.shadesapartband.com
