tele compensated bridge

FredG	tele compensated bridge dumb quickie question: I want to replace my Mex Nashville tele 6 piece Strat type bridge with a compensated 3-barrel type. I already replaced this bridge once with a nice 6-piece Stew-mac (6 years ago), but I want to go with the real deal Tele-thang. Not sure how to measure "string spread". I'm measuring out 2 3/32 with me ol' ruler. Help me out, bros. Thanks, Fred G.
