MBSetzer | Re: silvertone ot transformers 1482,1484 On the 1472 & 1482, the OPT has one common plus a 4ohm and an 8ohm tap. Mine came with an 8ohm speaker so it just used the 8ohm tap. When you drive an 8ohm speaker from the 4ohm tap, you should expect less clean headroom and a change in frequency response. Mike |
