| Jason | 1966 BFSR Blowing Fuses I am not sure what is causing it ... you can look at pictures on my website ... www.angelfire.com/blues2/1966SuperReverb I mean i tried my amp througha 4 ohm bottom on about volume 4 for about 10-15 seconds and turned it off...didn't seem to have any negative effects...then i tried a faded GE preamp tube and about 5 minutes later a fuse blew ... then another after that ... Also the fuse blew a week before when I put in a different rectifier tube that was probably bad...all i did was change the fuse and it was fine... finally...I took my amp out to take pictures for the aformentioned website and the washer that holds the handle in fell into the amp ... I have a picture if you want me to email it ... but i took that out and put it back into place and replaced the amp ... any Ideas??? |
