Hi,  
Well I did the "cap job" already and the Stokes mod - good mod.  
I'm thinking of making a new baffle and install a 12" speaker.  
I also did reduce the CBC on gain stage I (4.7 uF and stage II 3.3 uF): I'm thinking of reducing the PI cap (which is really BIG BTW).  
 
Have you tried the Paul C mod?
