I can't remember for sure, but I think it is a 1967 amp.. Yep, it works pretty well, but I do suspect that it will need a recap. It looks like the guts of this amp are all original! So, I am curious- to get rid of the death cap, all one needs to do is just remove it? If that's the case, it certainly sounds doable! Also, if I replace the power cord with a 3-prong unit, what do I connect the 3rd prong wire to? Just one of the mounting bolts for the power transformer? Thanks, Jason
