Randall amp poops out after an hour.

andy	Randall amp poops out after an hour. Hello, I recently purchased a used Randall RG100SC 100W Solid State guitar amp. During band practice - the amp decided to poop out after about an hour of use. The interesting thing is that only the second gain stage, Gain 2, was pooping out (by this i mean the sound emitting from the speakers sounded like it has eaten taco bell for lunch). I was able to switch to the clean channel and the first gain (Gain 1) without this horrible noise. But try using the heavy gain and you get junk. The day after practice, I check the amp and it's not so bad on that channel. So it obviously takes a while for the problem to culminate. One thing I do notice on the first gain stage is the noise from the Midrange potentiometer. What's wierd though, is that when reducing the mid, as you reach zero the sound is amplified. Just right at zero. Elsewhere it's just noisy with static. Also, the amp does tend to rattle quite a bit when turned past 4 on the Master. I'm wondering if this rattling is causing anything to become dismantled or disturbed. Does anyone have any advice? Or questions for me to help with some kind of solution to this farty problem? I have decent electronic knowledge. Andy
