replace the small electrolitic caps in the reverb section. The popping noise,that can be a CC resistor,or look at some of the cathode resistors off the preamp and reverb sections,they can crack in half,as the small 1.5k mounted on the 6l6 sockets.  
a bad tube..even new tubes can go bad.  
Could be a few things,maybe more info would help.. Both channels??
