Peter	Vox AC30 RI (PCB) hello, I fixed problem in Vox AC30 RI (on pcb). Amp was play when chassis was placed transformers downside, not playing when chassis placed transformers upside. In working position - transformers towards front of the baffleboard amp play with funny noises and lose volume - horror Somebody else say to owner "bad power tubes"! Problem: Cathode resistors (2 x 100R/3W) are broken one leg each from pcb - it looks likes they were OK. Fix: Broke the cathodes connection to pcb, bolt to chassis 50R/25W resistor with cathode capacitor and connect to EL84 cathodes. If amp is under warranty - don't do it cheers Peter

Somebody else say to owner

Problem:
Cathode resistors (2 x 100R/3W) are broken
one leg each from pcb - it looks likes
they were OK.
Fix:
Broke the cathodes connection to pcb,

and connect to EL84 cathodes.

If amp is under warranty - don't do it :-)
