Re: Weird ground hum thing.
Ray; yep it has a heater..but its up on the other end of the bed..about as far away as you could get from it was where i was sitting.
This came up, because i had a few amps come in..and i was playing one, just to see what it sounded like.

And a while back, like an idiot,i worked on a flying V of mine, because i thought the ground was bad on the bridge.. Now i find out,it only happens while sitting on the bed playing it.

I have come across people useing alot of those mini wall warts in a power strip, sitting next to there pedals and cables.. and they can cause hum..more like just getting your guitar too close to your amps transformers type noise..

But this last one with the bed,is the weirdest thing i've seen/heard.

Yeah a loose ground on your house, all kinds of things can happen. most of the time its in the box, just needs re-tightened..or the power company needs to check the drop, and at the pole. Wind and things can cause a loose ground..and you have all kinds of electrical problems.. it might also set your house on fire..yikes.. If your lights dim alot when an appliance kicks on..i'd have them check it.
It don't even cost nothing here to have the power company check it.
