Weird ground hum thing.

Richie | Weird ground hum thing. I came across this yesterday. And i wonder how many other things might apply that are similar. I have a waterbed,if you are sitting on the bed,the guitar or amp sounds like its ungrounded.Or like it has the ground loose to the bridge,when you lift your hand off the strings. If you held the guitar closer to your chest,it hummed much more.,hands the guitar to someone not on the waterbed..the guitar didn't have the hum. Only when you were sitting on the bed,is when it would act up and have a bad hum. I know PC moniters also cause noise problems if you sit in front of them with a guitar. But this is the first time i've heard this.And no amount of ground phase flipping the switch on the amp,or change of amp, made a difference. I wonder how many other weird ground noises are out there lurking. Richie |
