Best thing to do is leave it be! Is this a vintage 504 or recent build? Honestly, I really don't think EL84's would sound very good without some major redesign in the pre stage and you would have to fit a different Power Tranny because the voltages would kill the 84's. I know this may not be what you wanted to hear but I would dare not try this with that amp.
