Adding gain stage to SF Champ

Jered | Adding gain stage to SF Champ Looking at the Garnet Gnome schem I see there is a switchable gain stage. If I add a 12AX7, is this workable in a SF Champ? Or am I going to fry a transformer? Thanks, Jered |
