Marc | Re: SEM Mod Troy; your memory serves you well. The pot & cap is the mod. I've tried it and it was OK. Not great, not bad. It probably would have been better if the amp I tried it on sounded good in the first place. 
It was also outlined in performer's audio a few years ago, by Rikard Bergland. He showed it with out the cap to block the pot. Marc |
