Retail was $260.00 pus shiping and he was thrilled to get it for under $200.00 plus an hour's labor to install it. So, put things into perspective. Any decent low wattage OT is at least $15 to $30. Once you get into the +20 watt range you are up to $35 to $60. After that, it seems like it's a dollar or more per watt extra! There are cheap trannys out there for sure but the magnetics company that winds AES/CE trannys are actually quite good and I doubt you'll find much of anything "new" for less bucks that is as good.
