voltage doubler

Andy | voltage doubler I have a set of transformers from an old Bogen PA amp. The output is very beefy and should easily handle 70 watts maybe more but the original circuit used a voltage doubler on a non-centertapped 230vac HT. With the voltage doubler it should run 2 kt66's or 6l6's ok but I am wondering what affect this type of PSU has on the tone if any? -Andy |
