Keith	sag in 5e3 I just got a 5e3 clone and while I do like the tone of the amp, it has just too much sag on the low end when cranked to the point of overdrive. Notes on the low E string have no attack at all. Very mushy. Is it the 5Y3 rectifier that is causing this? Could I replace the rectifier with a Weber copper cap designed for less sag? I think you can specify how much sag you desire and have one custom made to your specs. Would that solve the problem?
