I tried using a 6L6 output tube which to me sounds much better, but the Triode tranny is only good for 40mA so it gets pushed to the limit. Bruce has recommended using the Weber tranny - Pop over to WeberVST and get one of the new $28.00, 15 Watt SE OTs Ted and I came up with!! It is rated at around 100ma.
