| GregP | 5E3 speaker Building Bruce's 5E3 kit, and everything seems to be going just fine. Taking my time, savoring the build. So far the experience has exceeded my expectations. I've had great luck with Weber speakers in my other amps, so I'm biased towards using one of Ted's speakers in this amp. I liked the sound clip of the 12A100 on Ted's site, but that was a PRS going through a DR, so it's hard to tell what part the 12A100 played in the tone. Playing blues/Rock-n-roll with texas specials in Tele's and strat. What speaker are you using and what characteristics do you like about it? |
