Tracy | Re: 5D3 phase inverter Hi I have a real Fender made 5E3. I believe it was made in 1959. I think someone said the 5D3 amp had more clean headroom because of the phase inverter design. also less bass with the .5 caps as compared to the .1's in the 5E3. I have never heard one of these 5D3 amps . I may have to build one . looks like a killer design to me. |
