Its a single instrument that just happens to reign supreme at this time. It wasn't all that long ago that folks flocked to see someone play a trumpet or a clarinet. (ala, Benny Goodman, et al.) When the time comes when folks want something "truly unique", it will probably mark the end of the guitar-based era - whose time is just on the horizon. I hope all those pickup makers are putting a little aside for a rainy day. Artie
