Behringer powered mixer...anyone have one?
I saw one of these for $300 and was shocked. Till now the cheapest dual power amp mixer with DSP and dual graphic eq's was a Yamaha which at the same store i saw the Behringer was going for $550.

But i've bought 2 other such PA rigs in the last 10 years or so and always went back to my old Peavey because the sound just wasn't as good. Specifically, no matter how i tweaked them with parametric or graphic eq's, the vocals would get lost in the mix. I can only think to attribute this to the much smaller and lighter tranformers on the other mixers i've tried. The old peavey has a monster tranny that weighs probably 20 lbs. I figure it must be the tranny's ability to supply the transient power on demand that makes the difference.

So the Behringer being so small and light worries me, tho it's so feature packed and cheap i can't help but want to buy one. Therefore i'd like to hear from anyone who knows PA amp/mixers well and has used or owned the behringer and hear what you think. Thanks.....
