| RedHouse | Re: Sound of strap locks thru amp ? I have a Strat with Schaller strap-locks (and all pickups are wax potted) that does that same thing. It's definately the straplocks in my case, they sqeak out a microphonic sound that is tranfered through the guitar (wood/hardware/strings?) into the pickups, but it's DEFINATELY the straplocks doing it, NOT the pickups. |
