Like Nathan, I too got a Warmoth pickguard and drilled my own (2) holes, on mine both are volume controls a I like the single coils to have their 250k and my "Pearly Gates" humbucker in the bridge position to have a 500k audio taper volume pot. (I hate the location of the stock Strat volume ctrl) Note that in my case I added tone ctrl emulation, a resistor capacitor pair (in series of course) soldered in to emulate having a tone ctrl present. (but fully clockwise) I found the pickups to have WAY too much of that squeeky string noise w/o a tone ctrl (or emulation) present.
